ICT Tools and other UD resources

Registered PhD students must obtain an OpenDeusto email account and access to the university’s student extranet. After enrolling at the General Secretariat, PhD students will receive an email to be able to register. The OpenDeusto account is necessary to check your marks on the student extranet or access the materials of the training activities on the Alud platform, for example. Link

The University of Deusto always contacts its students through the opendeusto account. If you wish to, it is possible to automatically forward the opendeusto messages to another account like Gmail. Instructions.

Among many other things the student extranet/virtual office allows you to access the PhD transcript and record of activities. The login and password are the same as for the OpenDeusto account. Link

Alud is a learning platform based on Moodle. The login and password are the same as for the OpenDeusto account. Link

Courses on Alud are created and managed by the lecturer/coordinator of the course. 

GAUDe is the administrative management system of the University of Deusto. This computer application includes the site where PhD candidates must register and upload the activities and productions necessary to fulfill the requirements of the PhD degree.

Virtualized classrooms that contain different types of software depending on the user and which can be used directly from the cloud. There is no need to install anything. Link.

Aula TIC is a service offered by the IT Service Department of the University of Deusto to all its members. Aula TIC aims to advise on the ICT platforms of the University itself, disseminate examples of good practices in the use of ICT to improve teaching-learning processes, help in the integration of ICT in teaching effectively, advise on the use of digital media for the dissemination and sharing of knowledge and provide training on ICTs.

In short, in tAula TIC they offer advice on Information and Communication Technologies; that is, they help solve problems and advise on the entire Google ecosystem, ALUD platform, extranet, Deusto Booking, DKH, MyApps, Virtual Office....
