In the case of a thesis by publications
The following documentation must be attached to the deposit application:
a) A report on the scientific relevance of the publications, preferably based on commonly used publication impact assessment indexes.
In the case that the thesis is a published book, a report from two experts who are not affiliated with the University of Deusto will be required, stating the importance of the publishing house, the selection mechanisms for manuscripts, and the specific value of the work.b) Written consent from any co-authors, if applicable, authorizing the inclusion of the co-authored works as part of the doctoral candidate’s thesis.
c) A written waiver from any co-authors who are not doctors, stating that they will not include the co-authored works as part of another doctoral thesis.
